An EXCELLENT example of World War I , British Army Highland Cyclists Unit Brass Shoulder Title. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Two of the original three retention lugs are present. 

The Highland Bicycle Unit was formalized in 1909,  and was considered to be a Mobile Infantry formation. This unit , was attached to the Black Watch during the period 1914-18.

The ideal addition to any British Army First World War Era Insignia collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
