An EXCELLENT example of World War I , South African Infantry Cap Badge w/ Slide. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Slide is complete.

This piece would have been worn by members of the SA Expeditionary Force stationed in France from 1916-1918.
