An EXCELLENT example of a World War 2 , British War Department Marked Model No.2 MKVI Field Rangefinder. This piece appears to be in a well-preserved state, with green Camouflage paint appearing largely intact. Some Age-related wear is visible to Stereoscopic viewfinder exterior & Rubber fittings. Manufacturer & Date marks are evident on Brass appliques.  Wooden Handles are complete and retract securely when engaged , whilst Patt.37 carry sling remains in good order.

** NOTE :  One Leather Lens Cover Is Missing. **

An item, such as this - would have been utilised by members of the British Army & Commonwealth Forces during the period 1939-45. This piece is over 70 years old and has been subject to excessive use.

The ideal addition to any Second World War ,  British/ Commonwealth  Military Equipment  collection or display.
