An EXCELLENT example of Second World War, 1940s Miniature Mounted Campaign Medals w/ Air  Efficiency Award & Oak Leaf. This set appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Ribbons a complete- Medals are secure and retain all devices.

The Air Efficiency Award was instituted in 1942 - for all Air  Force personnel (N.C.Os & Officer's) who had completed 10 years service on active duty. The Oak Leaf device for mentioned in dispatches is attached securely to the 1939-45 British War Medal.
