Minimal Signs of Wear evident due to handling/ age. One small Moth nip is visible at the forefront of the Beret. Lining is complete w/ adjustable drawstring and all necessary manufacturer / Military Markings.

An EXCELLENT example of Second World War, 1940s UDF Royal Natal Carbineers Armoured Corps Beret w/ Metal Unit Insignia.  This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Badge Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Felt Material remains in good order - NOTE : ONE SMALL MOTH NIP / HOLE IS VISIBLE AT FOREFRONT BASE. Lining is complete with all Military Acceptance Marks & Manufacturer Stamp. Adjustable drawstring is also present. 

The Royal Natal Carbineers, were part of the Union Defence Force contribution to the War Effort and actively participated in Combat Operations in East Africa, Libya and Italy until 1945.
