An EXCELLENT example of World War 2 ,  1940s South African Royal Natal Carbineers Lieutenant 's Service Tunic w/ Rank & Regimental Insignia. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on Badge and rank obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Material will display minor moth wear on Felt additions. All Regimental Buttons are present. Lining is intact and remains securely sewn. 

This piece would have been utilised by a Commissioned Officer of the Rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Natal Carbineers. The Unit served throughout the Second World War - from East Africa (1940-41), The Western Desert (1941-43) , including Gazala & El-Alamein, and Italy from 1944 -45 at the Gothic Line.
