An EXCELLENT example of World War 2 , 1940s UDF Copper 'Death Plaque' Escutcheon w/ Bolts . This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Retention/ mounting bolts are present. Foundry Stamp 'EN' is visible below Coat-of-Arms. 

This piece would have been Mounted on a Wooden base plate, as part of the standard Servicemen's/ women's Mourning Plaque - issued upon death during active duty.
