Most manufacturers use silver or brass as a base or core metal. However, I have found jeweler's bronze is superior in all ways for beauty and wearability! 14k, 18k, and 24k white and yellow gold and sterling or rhodium silver is the final and permanent heat-bonded finish on all rings.
