It was a working cash drawer but I did not have a key for it. So I tried to replace the whole lock and the operation went wrong. Besides the broken / missing lock, the lock mechanism (the teeth and arm) just slips. While in theory you could be able to modify it to be used manually like the old tills. The only way it will work as is is with the kick interface linked to the printer and POS system. However then you will not be able to open drawer when the POS system is off and of course if there is a power failure. Includes cash tray inserts. It can be used for spares as well if you have a drawer which is damaged but has a lock mechanism.
