However Beyond Platinum has reengineered the concept and developed the Rolls-Royce of remote control extender systems. So what's new? Well, a lot actually. First off you don't need two base stations. Beyond Platinum has found a way to cram all the right technology so the receiver is an innovative IR receiver'\RF transmitter battery that replaces one of the batteries of the remote control which you would like to use. Also the set comes with two rechargeable batteries, the one is utilised to power the remote control and receive the minute signals generated from the remotes circuitry which is then encoded as an RF signal and sent to the base station unit. The other battery is used within the base station unit and is charged ready for swap out when your remote controls power starts to diminish. One of the most significant features is the fact that the kit does not operate on the standard RF frequency that most remote blaster kits use.
