An EXCELLENT example of a 1950s Rhodesia/ Nyasaland L1A3 FN FAL Knife Bayonet w/ Scabbard. This piece appears to be in a well-preserved state, with surface finish largely intact and blade in good order. Scabbard is present and both items will display signs of age-related surface wear due to handling. War Department and year markings are present on Hilt.
A piece such as this, would have been issued to members of the Rhodesian & Nyasaland military contingents sent to support Counter-Insurgency operations in Malaya/ Borneo.
