This piece remains in a GOOD, USED CONDITION- Statuette appears to be complete , but has been subject to corrective repairs. Soapstone is a talc-schist , making it a very soft stone variety that is subject to fracture when exposed to mishandling. **ITEM IS SECOND-HAND AND WILL DISPLAY SIGNS OF AGE-RELATED SURFACE WEAR/ REPAIRS.**

An EXCELLENT example of a Rhodesian Bush War 1970s , Fireforce 'Troopie' Soapstone Statuette- as handcarved for memorabilia purposes. The figure has been rendered in period correct fieldwear and equipment , standing at ease with a 7.62mm FN FAL Assault Rifle. The Statuette model depicts the standard Rhodesian Light Infantry/ RLI  Soldier toward the latter stages of the Conflict from 1977 onward. ** NOTE : The figure has been subject to at least 4 visible corrective repairs to the arms and hands (between the shoulders /  upper arms & the forearms / hands).

The ideal addition to any 1970s Rhodesian Bush War memorabilia collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a period piece for their assortment.
