This exquisite antique Art Deco hand painted enamelled vanity set is in very good condition for its age and has lovely hand painted themed detailing on the backs of the set. This lovely set has two brushes and a hand-held mirror that all fit nicely in its original presentation/ storage case. This set was manufactured in England also has a note dating to 1939, where it was given to someone as a gift. The larger silver-deposit chromium plated brush measures 22cm long x 8,5cm wide, the smaller brush is 14cm long x 4cm wide and the exquisite handheld mirror is 27cm long x 11cm wide. This lovely vanity set was made in England and is real enamel on genuine silver deposit chromium plated as mentioned on the plaque in the box and was distributed by Charles Greig & Sons Jewellers of Johannesburg. This an absolutely wonderful set that would look amazing as part of an antique display collection. There is some damage to the enamel on the top of the brush and one of the mirrors (see pics).
