This spectacular large red marble/ granite?, bronze and bevelled glass panelled double-door pendulum mantle clock with a porcelain dial is a truly superb example of 17th century French mantle clocks. The exquisitely detailed bronze embellished mantle clock has a door on the front and on the rear of the clock and has an eight day mechanical mechanism which chimes on the half and hourly intervals. This incredible mantle clock measures a very decent 31cm long x 17cm wide x 49cm high. There is a small chip on the foot of the mantle clock, but it in no way detract from the appeal of this wonderful mantle clock.
