This superbly painted original signed "Luther Marais" (1935 - 2010) framed landscape oil on board painting measures 400mm wide x 525mm high (255mm x 380mm ex frame). The scene depicts a donkey cart making its way through the mountains and the attention to details is awesome. The stunning depth of his work makes his art very collectable and his work has been sold by most of the leading auction houses. There are a few scuffs on the frame, but nothing a little TLC can’t sort out. Please view the pictures carefully to fully appreciate this beautiful original painting and to confirm the condition of it.
