This exquisite antique Edwardian solid teak hand carved & upholstered Bergere armchair on period styled turned legs measures 76cm long x 69cm wide x 105cm high. The Bergere armchair has been upholstered in a fabric with a leaf pattern and finished with metal upholstery studs around the edges. The fabric has some age and usage related wear and tear (see pics) and ideally should be re-upholstered to suite your decor requirements. The carved detailing along the back rest and below the arm rests give the armchair a typical Edwardian feel and the armchair rests on turned teak legs in the front. The chair would be perfect in a living room or reading room and would definitely be an eye-catcher piece. The chair is well made and sits solidly on the floor.
