This rare and very collectable vintage (late 1970's) boxed Sheaffer Targa 675 "Regency Stripe" fountain pen with a 14ct solid gold nib and matching ballpoint pen set is still in its original presentation box and is in stunning condition for its age - the set does not look as though it was particularly used. This Sheaffer Targa range is was made between the late 1970's and early 1990's. The Targa range is arguably the best Sheaffer pen since the PFM, the cartridge/ converter-filling Targa is a sleek metal-bodied post-modern pen that features the PFM’s reliable and elegant Inlaid 14ct gold nib, and Sheaffer produced it in a tremendous range of lacquer colours and metal finishes, more than 70 in total. The incredible range of finishes has contributed to the Targa’s lasting popularity with collectors. Adding to the pen’s appeal is the fact that most Targas are superb writers. The black enamel and gold "Regency Stripe" design on body and cap makes it a amazing and very stylish pen set. The capped fountain pen is 13.7cm long and the ballpoint pen is 13cm long. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this stylish Sheaffer pen set and to confirm the condition.
