2018 SILVER KRUGERRAND

For 50 years, the South African Mint issued the Krugerrand coinage only in gold with various weights to choose from when buying gold. In 2017, the South African Mint introduced its first-ever Silver Krugerrand as part of the 50th-anniversary offering of Krugerrand coinage. The silver coin returned in 2018 with a bullion offering available to collectors.

2018 the 1st-ever release of a Silver Bullion Krugerrand coin!
On the obverse is the image of Paul Kruger, former President of the South African Republic.
The reverse side of the coin includes the Springbok antelope, the national symbol of South Africa.
