"SEED PLANTS OF SOUTHERN TROPICAL AFRICA: FAMILIES AND GENERA" BY OA LEISTNER, FIRST EDIT EDITION 2005, SOFTCOVER, 494 PAGES. NO NAMES OR INSCRIPTIONS. IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
The area covered is referred to as southern tropical Africa (abbreviated: sthn trop. Afr.). Five countries are included: Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Mozambique which lie in a broad belt from the Atlantic to the Indian Oceans to the north of the five countries in the southernmost part of Africa dealt with in Leistner (2000), namely Namibia, Botswana, South Africa,
Swaziland and Lesotho.  The families are alphabetically arranged within the three groups: (1) Gymnosperms or non-angiosperm seed plants (pp. 2629), (2) Dicotyledons or Magnoliopsida (pp. 30374) and (3) Monocotyledons or Liliopsida (375458). The Magnoliids, Ceratophyllales and the Basal families Cabombaceae and Nymphaeaceae are again treated within the alphabetical system of the dicotyledons.
