Design and Ergonomics

This entry level, fully automatic camera from Sony has a classic compact design to its all metal body which is 29.1mm thick. Round the back you&ll find a 2.4 inch LCD with wide viewing angle. An onscreen guide makes it easy to access functions.

Picture Quality and Lens

With 7.2 megapixels you can get about an 8x10 inch print at full resolution with greater enlargement possible to achieve high quality poster size prints. The 3 times optical zoom is a 35mm film equivalent to 35-105mm, which will give you a perspective from standard wide angle to short telephoto for small group pictures and good portraits.

It also has a 6 times digital zoom and up to 14 times smart zoom which allows higher zoom without image quality loss, but at a lower image resolution. At 14 times, the smart zoom resolution is at VGA (640x480 pixel resolution). This camera is also capable of a highest 1250 ISO which is useful in low light conditions.

Key Features
