This issue features the iconic Springbok antelope with the Latin motto SOLI DEO GLORIA (Glory to God Alone), a design strongly associated with South Africas silver coinage heritage. The obverse carries the English legend SOUTH AFRICA, making this the English-legend variety sought after by collectors.
