An EXCELLENT example of an Elegant, .925 Silver & Mother of Pearl ' Isle of Wight' Fruit Knife. This piece remains in a well-preserved state, and produces an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The engraved Mother of Pearl grip scales depict a Miniature Map of the Isle of Wight &  display a wonderful iridescent lustre in combination with the polished Silver Blade. This piece was manufactured by Silversmith ,  William Needham  of Hill  Street , Sheffield  - and exhibits the sophistication of Georgian Era Craftsmanship.
