Suzuki was a prominent Woodblock Carver & Painter whose subject matter comprised the daily routines of the Yoshiwara district Oiran /  Courtesan Ladies. 

This particular depiction, has been produced from an image in Suzuki's collection of artworks entitled : Seiro bijin awase  / Beautiful women of the Yoshiwara - and features a Young Lady in traditional Uchikake (Outer Kimono) & Obi waistband.
