About the artist:

Don Bell is a listed South African artist who has participated in exhibitions at Getaway Show Cape Town, Port Elizabeth St Georges Gallery, De Oude Kraal Luxury Guest Lodge, Grahamstown Arts Festival, Queenstown, EPSAC Port Elizabeth and his works are permanently on display in the SAAF Museum Art Gallery in Forest Hill Port Elizabeth.

He is a multi-gifted artist and illustrator, architectural technologist and photographer who works in oil, water colours, charcoal, pencil, pen and multi-media paintings, drawings and commercial illustrations.

He enjoys all types of subject matter ranging from wildlife, landscapes, seascapes, portraits accross the spectrum to architecture, contemporary art, aviation, ships, and still life.  As a designer and artist, he is inspired by all types of subject matter and he is constantly experimenting with colours, form and subject matter. Wildlife however, is his first love which he constantly returns to.
