FABULOUS Signed Aynsley Coral England Bone China Tea Cup - J.A. Bailey.  Wonderful rose bowl design exclusively hand-painted by Joe Bailey, who worked for Aynsley from 1937 to 1974.  This pattern is not a transfer but an authentic hand-painted and signed picture.  Some tea cups similar in design are not signed and may have been painted by apprentices.  The cup measures 2 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter, and has a slight ribbed effect.  The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter.  it has not been chipped or damaged there is a slight line on the saucer that you can see in the one picture ,it at no stage spoils the beauty of the piece .Also not the reduced price, Pattern number C1033 by John Aynsley & Sons.  The backstamp dates from the 1930s era.  A LOVELY and rare artistic addition to your showcase!
