"THE GENUS ROMULEA IN SOUTH AFRICA" BY MIRIAM P DE VOS, HARDCOVER, 1972 FIRST EDITION, 307 PAGES, NO NAMES OR INSCRIPTIONS, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

The genus Romulea in South Africa is a group of about 83 species of flowering plants belonging to the iris family (Iridaceae), and is centered in the winter rainfall region. These plants are known for their corms (bulb-like underground storage organs) and diverse flower colors and markings. South Africa is a hotspot for Romulea diversity, with the majority of the world's species found there. 

Detailed descriptions of 68 species, and 26 subspecific taxa grouped in nine sections are dealt with. 25 are new species, 11 of these being local endemics with apparently restricted areas. With 97 figures. 8 colour plates.
