"Tretchikoff" by Howard Timmins, published by George Harrap and Printed in South Africa by Cape & Transvaal Printers, 1969. A coffee-table folio-sized edition covering the work of the renowned South African painter Vladimir Tretchikoff, born 1913 in Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan.

Gilded dust jacket. Cloth bound hard cover. Large page size 36.5 cm x 47.5 cm. About 40 pages, mostly full colour glossy prints of the artist’s work. Signed by Tretchikoff “To Les Durban 1969”.

The dust jacket is frayed at the edges and the gilding has acquired an intricate pattern of corrosion. The book itself has no damage but there are brown foxing spots.
The loose print is missing.
