It's a base metal with a top layer of genuine .925 sterling silver bonded to the core metal. I list it this way so it is understood that the setting is not solid 925 silver to the core. If it was it would cost 3 x the price as can be seen in my listings where it is solid .925. This jewellery is awesome as it allows for stunning fashionable settings to be affordable while not compromising the quality.
