MANUFACTURER : Bothwell's Outfitters , Salisbury. Southern Rhodesia. 

An EXCELLENT example of a WW1 British Royal Artillery Bullion Regimental Blazer Badge, made in Southern Rhodesia.  This piece appears to be in a well-preserved state , with felt backing and Bullion remaining intact. The original manufacturers paper label is evident on the reverse. 

Bothwell's Outfitters, was started by Samuel Bothwell (originally from Northern Ireland), who arrived in Bulawayo , Southern Rhodesia before opening the first Outfitters in the Colony in 1897. The Salisbury branch was opened in 1902 and catered for Men's clothing & tailoring requirements.

The ideal addition to any First World War, Colonial British Military Insignia collection or display.
