An EXCELLENT example of Second World War, 1940s UDF Soldier's Identity Disc 'Dog Tags ' Pair. These pieces appear to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Recipient details and Nomenclature are visible. Identity Discs are suspended from an original Leather retention thong.
These items would have been issued to all Union Defence Force personnel during the period 1939-45.
