This piece remains in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Camouflage paint is present & Helmet remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Liner is intact with Chin Strap.

An EXCELLENT example of World War 2 , Union Defence Force , Olive Green Camouflage ' Brodie' Pattern Steel Helmet. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with original liner & post-War elasticed chin strap. All markings present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface.
This piece would have been utilised by South African Servicemen during the Second World War and in the immediate years after, until introduction of the M53 French Helmet.
The ideal addition to any UDF/ Commonwealth World War 2 Era , Helmet collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
