An EXCELLENT example of a First World War (1914-1918) British War Medal , as awarded to Service members of the British Army & all Imperial Forces . The Medal was struck in .925 Sterling Silver and recipients were eligible for issue - for service rendered between 5 August 1914 & 11 November 1918 (mobilized for a minimum of 28 days). The Graphic Relief on the obverse and reverse remain in good detail and still retain wonderful surface "toning" - with the Medal having never been cleaned.
