An EXCELLENT example of a First World War (1914-1918) British Victory Medal , as awarded to Service members of the British Army & all Imperial Forces . The Medal was struck in Bronze and recipients were eligible for issue - for service rendered between 5 August 1914 & 11 November 1918 (in any theatre of the War). The Graphic Relief on the obverse and reverse remain in good detail and still retain wonderful surface lustre. The original Silk Ribbon has been damaged and retains significant Ink Staining.
