'Zimbabwe Republic Police - Police Dog Trials' Trophy
This early, original copper and blue enamel trophy or plaque is one, out of a collection of five differently worded trophy's that I'll be listing. They were awarded to 'T.W.S. DEETLEFS' who appeared to have had a long career in various police forces and even in the 'S.A.D.F', all as a dog handler, starting in 1923 with the 'S.A.P' and finishing in 'Z.R.P'. This one has the wording 'ZIMBABWE REPUBLIC POLICE' along the top, and below the dog, 'POLICE DOG TRIALS'. This one has no engraved inscription but belonged to the same person. The trophy is in good condition and stands 12,6cm high, with a width of 7,3cm.
