0.56" SUPER RED THREE DIGIT SEVEN SEGMENT DISPLAY CC
Product information
This bright red (14mm height) 3 digits seven segment display can be connected to an Arduino and used in a voltage display application. These displays are multiplexed, common-cathode. That means you can use a 74HC595 or just 8 microcontroller pins if you can spare them to control the 8 anodes (7-seg + decimal) at about ~15mA each, and then connect NPN transistors or a TPIC6B595 to the cathodes to sink the 8*20mA = ~120mA maximum per digit. It can also be connected to the SPI interfaced MAX7219 in order to save on microcontroller pins used.
