Fractional rounds are a great way to diversify your precious metals portfolio. The 1/10th oz Aztec Calendar Silver Round is the perfect opportunity to diversify and invest in silver bullion without breaking the bank!

The Aztecs governed much of southern Mexico for nearly 200 years. The Aztec Empire ruled from 1345 until 1525, when they were conquered by the Spanish conquistadors. Despite the fact that it has been nearly 500 years, references to the Aztec Empire may be seen in a variety of films, television episodes, and even precious metal designs in Mexican pop culture.

Round Specifications:
  • Contains 1/10th oz of .999 fine Silver.
  • Individual rounds come in protective coin flip.
  • Obverse: Depicts the famous Aztec Calendar Stone. The design is in a circular shape resembling a sun, with rays emanating outward. In the center is the face of the Aztec solar deity, Tonatiuh, which gives the monolith its alternate name the Sun Stone.
  • Reverse: depicts the striking left portrait of Cuauhtemoc, the last Aztec Emperor of Tenochtitlan. The name Cuauhtemoc means "Descending Eagle," as in the moment when an eagle folds its wings and plummets down to strike its prey. He wears the traditional headdress and ear ornaments of the Aztec elite, and is surrounded by an Aztec border as well as the inscriptions of his name and the metal content, weight, and purity.
  • Made in the U.S.A.
