1/18 Kyosho Audi R8 pace car. Extraodinary model.

There is a very good reason why Kyosho gets rated as one of the top two model carmakers. I am not into this sort of thing. I bought it because as a modeler, I can relate to what these guys did here. It is in the detail. This car is worth double my asking price, so I doubt you will find it cheaper anywhere. Let it be known, I combed this thing now with the camera, and it is one of the best models this side of R10K that I have ever seen. If you take care to replicate the safety belt clip..... and the stitching on the seats, well then you did make an effort.

I think when you take close-up pictures of a model car, it is normally out of scale flocks in metallic paint that stands out. These okes used bloody fine paint. It is extremely well painted.
