The fitting of a Tube Light may not seem necessarily important, however, the efficiency of a Tube Light will depend heavily on its fitting, especially when it comes to minimizing the light lost in direction. LED Lights are more focussed and therefore the areas that need lighting will have the best illumination, ensuring that the need for the light is fulfilled, without wastage.

Some types of Tube lights emit Infrared and ultra violet – but Homie LEDs do not emit either. Another benefit is that the special designed Heat Sink in the Single and Double fittings allows for less heat emission, reducing your electricity costs even further – for example by reducing the power needed to light the same workspace and even releasing pressure on your air-conditioning system by reducing the heat output. The frosted glass covered helps to spread the light further without wastage!
