Any experienced plastic model builder knows that two kit manufacturers stand out above the rest - TAMIYA and HASEGAWA. While you certainly pay a little more for their kits, the quality and accuracy of their kits is unmatched by any other. If you want the best - accept no substitute!

Having said that, up for grabs here is a "Fairchild Republic A-10A Thunderbolt II" kit by TAMIYA in 1/48 scale. Unofficially given the nickname of "Warthog" by its pilots, the A-10 is a ground attack aircraft designed to deliver a wide variety of weapons against enemy forces. TAMIYA have faithfully reproduced that mission with this kit - there is a tremendous weapons load-out, of incredible detail. The cockpit area, engine pods, and nose-mounted GAU-8 gatling gun - in fact, every millimeter of this kit is just AWESOME! Also check out the first TRANSFORMERS movie (2007) by Michael Bay, to see footage of these planes in action against the Decepticon "Skorponok".

This will make a great addition to any aviation enthusiast's collection. The box is still sealed with the manufaturer's cellophane, and I am positive that inside the box, all the sprues are still in the sealed manufacturer's bags, and the decals are in mint condition. This kit features 150 parts molded in olive green and clear with fine recessed panel lines. New and unstarted.

Unassembled plastic model kit that requires construction and painting (glue, paint and other tools NOT included).

Not recommended for small children. Highly recommended for scale modellers!!
