Prolific PL2303 Chipset drivers may show this error below when device connected to a Windows 10/11 PC depending on driver version installed.
- Download the Prolific 2023 Driver at Prolific 2023 Windows10/11 Driver and extract the zip file and install the "PL2303-Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1200.exe" Driver Set
- Open Windows Device Manager and Right Click the Message in above image and choose "Update Driver" as per image
- Choose the Options below
Ensure to choose the "12/07/2018" Driver. Newer drivers may be incompatible and device not detected properly in Windows
