This auction is for a case of 12 bottles of Meerland Droe Steen 2006 vintage. The wine is produced by Darling Cellars and was to be for the export market to the Netherlands. That is why it is called a " droe steen " and not as we now know it as a Chenin Blanc. The bottle used is a 60mm, 728 size and was a little bit to heavy for the purchaser in Holland. The wine is now available on the local market at a fraction of the price. The alcohol is 13.5% and the desription is: " Very Fruity Semi Dry White wine, ideal with salads and light dishes or as a nice summer wine "
