VERY IMPORTANT:

This is a region locked PS4. I picked it up while on holiday in Asia. It is a legitimate Sony PlayStation, the operating system has just been restricted (Thank you Chinese regulations, sigh). You will unfortunately not be able to access the international online store and will not be able play online much from what I can tell. This is ideal if you are like me a casual gamer who buys the discs (mostly second-hand) and mostly plays at home or with your friends when they are over for a beer. This is not for online gamers who want to play internationally. Internet forums indicate that you can play online via Chinese servers. No idea, was too much effort for what I needed. Also the X and O buttons are swapped at start-up. There is a function under settings where you just change it around by ticking a box and works like the normal international version.

I have tried replacing the OS and unlocking it. That is a bit above my skill set. Maybe give your local "chip guy" a call. I am sure somebody will be able to break the region lock if you want to go and play online. There will be no refunds or exchanges done due to the fact that it is region locked. So please read this part carefully. I formatted the PS and so it will run as brand new when you receive it.
