We don't know about you, but when we are out in the bush we never seem to have enough cigarette lighter sockets for all the gadgets. GPSs, spotlights, cellphones (sigh), pumps for the inflatable mattress, fridges......
Here is the simple fix, split your existing cigarette lighter into two. The male plug is protected with a 10A fuse just in case you get carried away with what you connect. It has one socket on a short (250mm) wire and then a really neat 3m extension on the other socket, great for the appliances in the back of the car.
