Acacia erubescens Bonsai Seed

Common Name: Blue Thorn or Blouhaakdoring

Family: Fabaceae

Acacia erubescens or as it is commonly known, Blue Thorn, is sometimes confused with A. fleckii.  The leaf and bark structure determines the difference.  A. erubescens has yellow papery bark that peels off in layers to reveal silver bark beneath.  The leaf rachides recurve back wards.  From September to November is carries creamy flowers that often has a pink tinge.
