Common Name: Small-Leaved False-Teeth Tree Aeschynomene is a genus of flowering plants in the family Fabaceae, and was recently assigned to the informal monophyletic Dalbergia clade of the Dalbergieae. They are known commonly as jointvetches. These legumes are most common in warm regions and many species are aquatic. The genus as currently circumscribed is paraphyletic and it has been suggested that the subgenus Ochopodium be elevated to a new genus within the Dalbergeae, Aeschynomene nodulosa commonly known as Small-Leaved False-Teeth Tree is usually a slender shrub but occasionally a small tree. The plants are aromatic. The stems are covered with short glandular hairs and the leaves are up to 8 cm long. The fruit looks like row of false teeth. From winter to summer it bears sprays of yellow flowers with red veining. You're buying a pack of 10 Seeds We'll supply you with all the germination & care instructions. |
