Black Krim Tomato

Also known as the Black Crimson or Black Crim, the Black Krim Tomato is originally from the Isle of Krim on the Black Sea in the former Soviet Union, this rare and outstanding heirloom tomato yields 7.5-10cm slightly flattened dark-red to blackish purple/mahogany-colored slightly maroon, beefsteak tomatoes with deep green shoulders. The “gel” around the seeds is green. It has a fantastic, intense, sweet, mild and rich flavor that tastes slightly salty taste, which is great for those not wanting to add salt to their tomatoes. Excellent when used in salads and on sandwiches. This heirloom variety is not genetically modified. The production of this variety is intense and it will do quite well in containers. It takes 70-80 days to mature.
