Habranthus brachyandrus Jumbo Seeds
Jumbo Rain Lily
Habranthus is a genus in the Amaryllidaceae family with species from Central and South America extending into southern North America. All of them have narrow, linear or strap-shaped leaves. Their flowers are very similar to Zephyranthes and both are called rain lilies because they flower in profusion after a rain shower during summer. Habranthus brachyandrus jumbo is a relatively hard-to-find rain lily that has flat green foliage, similar to Habranthus robustus. Each flower can be up to 10cm long. The contrast of the outfacing pink flower with the dramatic purple throat is outstanding.
