To extend HDMI cables use the HDMI Coupler / Socket - Female to Female (Gold Plated Connectors)

Some sources / players do not produce an equalized HDMI signal and for coupling or extending HDMI Cable lengths beyond 10 meters we recommend that a HDMI Active Equalizer Extender / Repeater be used rather than a HDMI Coupler.

For lengths exceeding 20 meters we recommend either of the following products HDMI Extender CAT-5e / CAT-6 w/Tx + Rx (30m 1080p) or HDMI Super Extender CAT6 w/Tx + Rx (50m-60m 1080p)

This cable is 24 AWG (American Wire Gauge) rated and can reach longer distances up to 25 - 30 Meters with a HDMI Active Equalizer Extender / Repeater. 24 AWG HDMI Cables have a thicker core than our 28AWG rated cables to ensure lower signal quality loss at longer distances. HDMI CABLES AND EQUIPMENT SHOULD NEVER BE CONNECTED / DISCONNECTED WHILE YOUR EQUIPMENT IS POWERED ON SINCE THE HDMI PORT CARRIES A LOW VOLTAGE BUT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT WHEN PLUGGED / UNPLUGGED WHILE POWERED ON. The sequence below should be followed when installing new cables or equipment between source/player and LCD / Plasma.

1.) Power-off all equipment (At the wall socket).
2.) Connect all Cables, Splitters, Switches, Extenders within HDMI Distribution Network.
3.) Power on all Splitters, Switches, Extenders within HDMI Distribution Network.
4.) Power on all LCD / Plasma's and set to HDMI input from HDMI Distribution Network.
5.) Power on Sources / Players (Sources negotiates HDCP Handshake via HDMI Network to displays which is set to HDMI input to respond to handshake).
