Oophytum nanum is a mesemb succulent plant from South Africa, in the Aizoaceae family.

It is commonly known as Living Stones and it is a succulent that closely resembles a pile of stones, hence the common name. They clump with age and the colours range from green, to orange through to a purple-brown colour. The colouring changes with the age of the plant and with the season. Each individual 'stone' can reach 10cm in height.
