Otholobium stachyerum is a South African endemic species from the Eastern Cape and Western Cape Provinces with a range from Gansbaai to East London and Cathcart. It grows into a loosely branched tree of 5 meters tall. It bears three-foliate leaves. From spring to summer it bears white pea-flowers with purple keel tips.
